Well we never ended up getting any severe weather Monday night. But we did get a little bit of that on Tuesday. It drizzled all throughout the day.
Golf practice Tuesday was pretty short. We got to the Tyndall course and started to practice while it was drizzling, which wasn't to bad. It was a little chilly. About 15 minutes into the practice the rain came down a little harder then eventually hailed, which led to thunder, which led us home.
And now today it even snowed a little bit.
It can be raining one day and snowing the next, only in South Dakota. :)

The Beautiful Peacock
I thought I would share some pictures of my peacock with his tail all fanned out! It is a beautiful sight to see!
This past week's weather was very nice, also. Hoping that it sticks around for awhile. Tyndall hit around 73 on Wednesday, I think that was the day!
Our trip is getting ever so close, I am getting very excited. I really wish it would come faster! I am also getting very excited that school is done in 2 MONTHS!! Can't believe it.
Have a great weekend. ~David

It's beginning to feel a lot like ...Spring!!
High school golf starts this week, which I am very excited about. And it looks like these temps. will be a very good start to the season.
Last week I finally got my birds' pens cleaned, one thing off my check list. Then next thing I have to do is make their nest boxes, as laying season is right around the corner. Then I got more of a real task. I am going to research our trip destination to figure out where I want to go.
O... and another thing, enjoy this last week of winter!
ON THIS DAY: Today is Pi Day! Celebrate pi which is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Since that mathematical constant is about 3.14, March 14 became the day to observe it.
Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Eagle Cams
I have been searching the internet lately and found a few eagle cams where you can watch Bald Eagles lay their eggs all the way up to when the chicks leave the nest. Here are the links:

Bald Eagles
During the winter months a group of Bald Eagles come to stay with the Tyndall community. They stay a few miles out of town, where they are fed (dead pig from hog farmers) and have nice big houses (big shelter belts). At one time I have counted up to 30 Bald Eagles at a time. Here are a few pictures I have taken of the Eagles

| Here is a picture of two Eagles, the Bald Eagle on the right and an unknown Eagle on the left, my guess is that it is either a Golden Eagle or a immature Bald Eagle. |

This is South Dakota for Ya!!
Well another winter storm has rolled through, hopefully get down to the last few storms. This storm brought frigid temperatures of as low as -30 at one time! I saw on the news of Rapid City have a -52 degree wind chill. That is pure South Dakota weather. Today almost felt like a heat wave! Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer! The nice thing about winter weather is that I get a lot of money from scooping the neighbor ladies' sidewalk. I have made around $800 this winter. I only have $90 left for my trip! During this past storm I caught a glimpse of Sun-dogs.
Recently I was talking to Survivors Holly Hoffman via Facebook and I asked if she would send me her autograph. Well, today I got it in the mail and it was more than what I expected, I received a picture too!
