Day 1: Chicago

Yesterday was mainly a travel day, but ended with much fun and excitement. We checked in the hotel then headed our way to downtown Chicago. Our first stop was at the Willis Tower. We made it up all 103 floors in less then 4 mins. We got to the top to see all Chicago below us. After coming down from the Willis Tower we headed to Navy Pier. Our little group ate at Bubba Gumps Shrimp Co., I would highly recommend eating there if you ever get down to Navy Pier.

Today we are headed to Pittsburgh to see the Pittsburgh Pirates play! I will update again tomorrow. ~David

We are off and running our way to Washington DC. We just made a pit stop in Adair, IA, now heading our way to the Amana Colonies for lunch. Then off to Chicago for the night. Will update more tonight with pictures from the Sears/Willis Tower and the Navy Pier. ~David

All Ready To Go

I just finished up with all my packing for my 2 week long Washington DC trip. I have to get up a 4 am to get on the bus on time. Tomorrow we head to Chicago. On our way we will stop at the Amana Colonies for lunch. Will update tomorrow about what we did on Day 1 of our trip. ~David

Well it looks like my weekend is going to mostly consist of mowing lawns. After all this rain the grass is going to be tall. I also have to finish up packing for my trip, hopefully I don't forget anything. Thats all for now. ~David

Pool Day

Today couldn't be a more perfect day to go to the pool!! Since I'm babysitting my cousin Gavin, I decided to take him to the pool, just to get out of the house.
