First egg of the season!!

Today was kind of split between a good day and a bad day!
The bad day part started when I woke up to this sight:.....

.....MORE snow!! I was hoping now that it was spring I wouldn't have to see the dull, white stuff 'til next year! Well I hoped wrong. 

Anyways to the good part of the day. I went out to do my chores and I found this:.....

....my first peacock egg of the season. It kind of took me by surprise as they don't lay until it warm out. Maybe thats a sign that it's going to get warm and stay warm. I hope.
